SEASONS END

did we finish with a BIG WIN>>>the girls' team beat the mothers......a fun finish to a fun season ..all participants had their exercise for the week....we are now able to detect where the girls do or DO NOT get their talent.....fathers also played so as to extend that insight on genetic talent....Kellie, Geena, and Jen received their coaches awards as the teams all-stars....Brook received recognition for her huge contributions in rebounding....our own rebound queen....also a big thank you to Mr. Czerpak and Mr. Koff ...our ever dependable score keepers, and also to Louis our ever dependable extra player.... Thank you to the mothers for their treats and for all the parental support all season long....WE HAD A WONDERFUL SEASON.....see you next year....

SEASONS END TOURNAMENTS

WOW did we show our stuff on monday at sts phillip and james....we took a strong lead and played well the entire game.......if i had known doughnuts would do it.. i would have brought them to every game....thank you to mr. hood for discovering the key to victory..as we received our trophy the tournament director took this time to tell the team, he had seen many MDP teams at his tournament over the years and thought we were the MOST TALENTED>>>hurray for us..........not only did we win but we got an opportunity to do a random act of kindness...the coach had mentioned before the game only one of his players had not scored all year....SO>>>>we took that as an opportunity to do good....while being "slight of hand" and not obvious we helped this young player obtain a driving layup which she made even though she had some "forgetfull" defense.....score one for us....
we then moved on to MDP....a team that had handled us a little too easily in our first meeting was now the opponent again...we came out strong ..scored well...and then a few mistakes occurred and the score was tied at the end of regulation....we played overtime with great energy but came up short on the scoreboard at the end of time....BUT A GREAT GAME TO FINISH THE SEASON....
THIS HAS BEEN A GREAT SEASON WITH A SENSATIONAL GROUP OF PLAYERS...I HAVE ENJOYED EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU AND AM SOOOOOO PROUD OF YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS.....WE HAVE TRULY MET OUR GOAL OF EACH PLAYER BEING BETTER AT THE END OF THE SEASON.....WE "OVER-REACHED" OUR GOAL.....!!!!!!GOOD JOB!!!!!
