TOURNAMENT WEEKEND

we spent a full weekend of basketball.....we saw great defensive play...good scoring...GREAT GOALS MET AND EXCEEDED....so we are on our way....it is very exciting to see such forward steps for players so early on in the season....it proves you listen and take into the games the things we work on in practice....there is still lots of room for progress but this weekend indicated we are on the correct path....

Brook and Rebecca our working hard post players...both of you became more aggressive on the definsive ends...you used you height and i saw at least ONE JUMP to the rebound....good job...

Gabby...had the defensive play of the weekend...stopping a fast break on the tallest girl on the opponents team...also caught a great pass and scored from the lane...good job....

Colleen...turned, faced, and went left....as well as jumped for rebounds and made great defensive plays under the basket..good job

Caryle...took good instruction and tried to slow herself down on her breaks...also became more aware of court and position of team players..became more selective on her shots......good job

Ali... is working hard to keep her head up and make that first pass...learned to move in closer for her shots..steals the ball like a thief....good job

Devin...has absorbed the game like a sponge...played intense defense and stepped up to the shot in the lane and scored...good job

Alexa...an energy rocket....is working to face her team and contain her dribble...has worked on stepping up for her shot as well as covering where needed on defense....good job....

Shannon....was away...but has shown she will progress as the others....her shot blocking will be well used in out coming games..good job

I AM SOOOOO PLEASED WITH US!!!!!!!! SEE YOU AT PRACTICE TUES AND WED...
